I adore this bread. Probably because it’s really more of a cake.
It’s impossibly moist, packed with Fall flavor, and vegan. The topping is slightly crisp, due to the generous sprinkling of cinnamon and sugar.
It’s just as easy to make as it is to eat. Anytime you have a vegan recipe, you know it’s going to be quick put together because there is no creaming of butter and sugar. And no need to wait patiently for the butter and egg to reach room temperature. All you need is a whisk.
Enjoy this as a holiday dessert or snack. The addition of molasses combines the Fall with Winter and caters to your vegan guests as well.
