Marshmallow Nutella Cream

 

Happy post Independence day!

I presume the following may be leftover: some wine, some beer, and…where I come into the picture….some marshmallows.

Now, if you made the S’mores No-Bake Bars or the S’mores Cookie Bars, chances are you have some extra marshmallows. Or maybe you’ll be tempted to restock for this recipe.

Unlike most traditional mousses, this one requires no egg, which is excellent for those with egg sensitivities or allergies.

It’s also the easiest dessert on the planet. It’s funny, many people ask about @abeebakes, hoping items can be bought (I’m working on it…), rather than requiring the readers to bake on their own. If you fall into this category, this is an excellent starting recipe for you. It requires no baking, it’s just melting and stirring. And waiting while it chills.

Even non-Nutella fans, (I know, I was surprised too that they actually exist) like this. It’s more chocolate-y than Nutella-y and super creamy and smooth. The marshmallow creates a puffy boost that normally the egg would do. And the sugar is coming from the marshmallow and Nutella, so there is nothing else added, which creates it the perfect touch of sweet. Enjoy!
