Plum Financier Tart (GF) “Un financier” is a small rectangular French butter cake, getting their name from resembling little bricks of gold. They can, however, be made in many shapes and flavors. Today’s shape is a round tart and today’s flavor is plum. And the best part? I’ve omitted the trademark butter (I hope I don’t offend the French 🤭🇫🇷) and it’s gluten free, using only almond flour. So it’s basically a light, not too sweet, snacking tart. Oh, and when plums bake the skins give the perfect tang. 🥰
