Applesauce Cake Now applesauce cake may not be the catchiest of titles but wow, it should not be underestimated. It basically acts as banana would or pumpkin when added to recipes: bringing flavor and moisture. And also a touch of sweet that pairs nicely with the hit of Autumn spices. Think cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. And then to top it off you have a cream cheese frosting that's been given a little Fall makeover from the Autumn makeup artist: a dusting a cinnamon. Strawberry Dump Cake🍓 While I find the name to be a little off-putting, dump cake gets its title from the simplicity in preparation: literally just dumping all the ingredients into the baking dish and baking. Fast, easy, and great for weeknight dessert, unexpected guests, or a baking activity with kids. I made this because it’s the hottest September on record in Austin. 🥵 The strawberries aren’t complaining though — they’re still sweet and juicy!
